Coteau Des Prairies Hospital and Clinic offers an extensive employee benefit
program designed to meet the diverse needs of its workforce. We strive
to provide our employees with high quality, competitive benefits that
are meaningful to them and continually review and modify our benefit package
to assure we are accomplishing those objectives. Some benefits are provided
automatically at no cost while others are available if you chose them
Medical, Dental & Vision Coverage
Employees regularly scheduled to work between 40 and 80 hours per pay period
(2 weeks), are eligible for medical, dental and vision coverage. Employees
may also receive coverage for their spouse and eligible dependents. Coverage
is effective the first of the month following thirty days of employment.
Employees working less than 40 hours per pay period and temporary employees
are not eligible.

of $25,000 (no cost to employee) Additional Voluntary Life and AD&D
coverage for employee, spouse, or dependents Short Term Disability (no
cost to employee) Long Term Disability (No cost to employee)
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Employees can earn PTO if they are regularly scheduled to work between
40 and 80 hours per pay period. The PTO program is an inclusive time off
program intended for use in connection with vacations, holidays, illnesses,
personal business, family care and other needs which may require time
off from work.
Holidays
As part of the PTO Program, the following national holidays are recognized:
New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving
Day, and Christmas Day.
Tax Sheltered Annuity Program
The Coteau Des Prairies Health Care System 403(b) Retirement Savings Plan
is an attractive way to save for retirement and other future goals. This
is a tax sheltered annuity plan with deferred federal and state taxes
on deposits and interest. Employees are eligible to contribute to the
savings plan on their first day of employment.
Spending Accounts
Employees regularly scheduled to work between 40 and 80 hours per pay period
are eligible for this benefit. Spending accounts (healthcare and/or dependent
care) allow employees to pay for certain health, dental, or dependent
care expenses incurred such as eye glasses, orthodontia, or day care on
a pre-tax basis. As a result, an employee's taxable income is decreased.
